Terms of Service

1) Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the MealRhythm website (mealrhythm.app) and the MealRhythm application (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2) Who May Use MealRhythm

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age required by your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract. If you invite others to your family space, you confirm you have their permission to share information with them.

3) Accounts, Family Codes, and Security

  • You are responsible for the activity in your account and your family space.
  • Do not share family codes publicly or misuse them. Codes are intended for people you trust.
  • Keep your devices secure. If you believe your account or a code is compromised, contact us.

4) Acceptable Use

  • Do not break the law, violate others’ rights, or interfere with the Service.
  • No reverse engineering, scraping, automated abuse, or attempts to bypass security.
  • Do not upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.

5) Your Content

You retain ownership of content you add (e.g., meal plans, notes). You grant us a worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free license to host and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for obtaining rights to content you share.

6) Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use information. By using the Service, you agree to it.

7) Fees and Purchases

MealRhythm currently offers a free tier. We may introduce optional paid features in the future (e.g., via the App Store). Any purchases will be subject to the store’s terms in addition to these Terms.

8) Third‑Party Services

The Service may integrate with third‑party platforms (e.g., Apple’s App Store, analytics). We do not control third‑party services and are not responsible for their content or policies.

9) Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non‑infringement. We do not guarantee availability or that the Service will be error‑free.

10) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MealRhythm and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenues, arising from or related to your use of the Service.

11) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold MealRhythm harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service at any time.

13) Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms. Material changes will be posted here. Your continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

14) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law principles. Where required, local consumer laws may grant you additional rights.
